Review

The CPS 4100 is the CPS/Super Charger Monster, rebirthed, and reborn for a new generation.  Recolored and neutered of its super charging capabilities, the CPS 4100 relies on raw power and smart nozzle choices to stake its claim to the battlespace. Super Soaker gave this bad boy a plethora of nozzles, and it’s these nozzle choices which makes the 4100 so versatile.  Officially rated “2.5x, 4x, 8.5x, and fan blast.

Output ShotTime Range Taps/Tank
2.5x  3.8oz/sec  5.7 secs 39 ft  113
4x  5.4  4 40  79
8.5x  11.2  1.9 42  29
Fan  5.8  3.7 30  74

As you can imagine, 2.5x is good for ammo conservation and fighting masses of lighter armed opponents. Typhoon is for crowd control. Four times is a good general all purpose nozzle, and 8.5x is your heavy hitter.

Ultimately this is a good primary and a good alternative to the CPS 1000 line for those who want more nozzle choices at the expense of a little maneuverability. The one thing to watch out for with this gun is the CPS 4100 mk2s which have very weak triggers. You should always reinforce your trigger if your 4100 is an mk2. Mark 2s have ridges on the back of their reservoir instead of the usual seam featured on the mk1 and Monster.
