I used to think this gun was so hardcore, dual barrels and a massive pump, how intense! In actuality, the XXP 175 is probably one of the weakest guns of its size. The dual 1x nozzles and lack of a pressure chamber are primarily to blame for this. I suspect that it would probably shoot further if you drilled the nozzles out to about 2.4 mm each, but this is really just a guess since I haven’t done it myself. The XXP 175 is best suited to soakfests. The double streams do give you a greater chance of hitting your enemy, but you have to get in close to do it. I don’t need to tell you that you should try to find cover until you get into range.
The XXP 175 is no less rugged than other XPs of the mid 90s, and the pump is no less powerful. The most annoying feature of this gun is that you have to unscrew both reservoir bottles to fill it up. It’s also not the best at making use of the water in each tank. In other words, as you start getting low on water it is easy to end up firing mist shots due to the length of the reservoir bottles. This is more common with larger PR guns. It also has a top mounted pressure gauge.
