Review
All hail the return of CPS power! While 2015 marked the first Hydro Power blaster since 2011, the Gargantua features a true CPS style pressure chamber, and it doesn’t disappoint. Power drop off is close to nil, so you get near max use out of the PC, and that’s a good thing, because BBT didn’t give the Gargantua a very large PC to work with.
To pair with the CPS class pressure chamber BBT gave it a nozzle selector with the 3 nozzles also featured in the Colossus series.
Nozzle | Output | ShotTime | Range | Taps/Tank |
N1 (TBM) | 1.2 oz/sec | 4 secs | 35 ft | 288 |
N5 (TBM) | 2.3 | 2.5 | 38 ft | 149 |
N9 (Burst) | 3.3 | 1.5 | 37 ft | 104 |
With that being said, the Gargantua does get a very large number of tap shots per tank. The trigger is extremely fast, nearing 150 levels, though it isn’t paired with nearly as large of a pump volume.
